Robert Ray Marlin

Robert Ray Marlin, 90, passed away November 28, 2016 in Fort Worth. He was born September 6, 1926 in Elmer Oklahoma the son of Jesse Edward and Eva Murl Clinkscales Marlin. He married Norma Brazeal in 1955 in Paris, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Graford, and was a member of the Graford Masonic Lodge and the Graford Church of Christ. He retired from Graford ISD as an Elementary Principal in 1989. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. Graveside services will be 10 AM Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Graford Cemetery. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Garry and Cindy Marlin of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Paden and Morgan Marlin, Courtney McGuire, sisters: Mar Lou Holt, Jessie Murl Schmidt, and Kay Long; and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on January 19, 2009; his son: Royce Marlin; and grandson: Christopher McGuire. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Graford Masonic Lodge or the charity of your choice in his memory.
