Robert Frank

Robert Walter "Bob" Frank, 78, of Mineral Wells, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009, in Mineral Wells. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at the Southside Church of Christ with William Eudy officiating. Burial will be in the Sturdivant Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wesley Moore, Brad Bullock, Stephan Lucas, Bob Lucas, Michael Hopkins and Anthony Borchardt and honorary pallbearers will be members of the "Chosin Few". United States Marines will provide graveside honors. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday. Mr. Frank was born November 14, 1930 in Bellville, Texas the son of Emil and Elsa Stern Frank. He lived in Houston, Fort Worth and moved to Mineral Wells in 1969. He married Renett McMinn May 3, 1969 in Mineral Wells. He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Marines and attended the South Side Church of Christ. He retired from the Marine Corps Reserve and sold insurance for many years in the Fort Worth area. Survivors include his wife, Renett Frank of Mineral Wells; daughter, Annette Barrington of Fort Worth, "like a" daughter, Leiana Bullock and husband Brad of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Christina Aydt of Dallas, Emily Borchardt and husband Anthony of Burleson, Cameron, Emma and Ben Bullock of Mineral Wells; great-grandson, Watts Godwin of Dallas; sister, Grace Barrineau of Houston, numerous nieces nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
