Robert "Bob" Dinwiddie, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Earl Dinwiddie, Sr., 95, passed away January 24, 2023 in Weatherford. He was born June 25, 1927, in Mineral Wells, the son of James “Pete” Marshall Dinwiddie and Effie Elizabeth Glidewell Dinwiddie. He married Mary Ann Dinwiddie on June 3, 1950 in Mineral Wells.

Robert worked for Southern Airways and Perry Equipment as well as owned many businesses throughout the years. He would buy, sell, or trade anything. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Dinwiddie, parents and brother, James Dinwiddie.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Earl Dinwiddie and caretaker Margie Crounse, Eddie and Tammy Dinwiddie; grandchildren and spouses: Robert Lee and Kelly Dinwiddie, Robin and Fred Ruiz, Caleb and Amanda Dinwiddie; great-grandchildren: Kali, Clayton, Rebecka, Landon, Cooper, Camron, Morgan, and Hudson; great-great-grandchild: Hudson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Sturdivant Cemetery.
