Robert "Bobby" Louis Richards

Robert "Bobby" Louis Richards, 83, passed away August 16, 2021 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was born August 15, 1938 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was the son of Robert "Bob" Frank Richards and Fannie Louise Ketzler. He married Wanda Jean Burns on September 9, 1962 in Weatherford, Texas. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1956. He graduated from North Texas State College in Denton, with a BS in education in 1960. He enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in 1961. After completing his duty in the Reserve he began working with his father, Bob at Richards Signs which was established in 1946. His father retired in 1965 at which time Bobby and his wife, Wanda owned and operated. He continued working there with his son, Russell and wife, Kim and grandson, Ryan until March 2021. A Celebration of Life for Bobby will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 2-4 PM (come and go) at First United Methodist Church, McMaster Hall in Mineral Wells, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Richards of Mineral Wells; daughter Lynda Winn and husband, Thomas Winn and children Coulton Winn and wife, Jasmine of Mineral Wells & Courtney Winn of Weatherford, Texas; daughter Kelly Stults and husband, Marlin Stults and sons Spencer & Chandler Stults of Mineral Wells; son Russell Richards and wife, Kim and children, Ryan, Kennady & Landen Richards of Mineral Wells; sisters Barbara Singletary of Arizona and Betty Jane Moore of Mineral Wells; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Backpack Buddies, PO Box 1466, Mineral Wells, Texas 76068.
