Robert Bazzell

Robert F. Bazzell Sr., known to most as "Bob" 78, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at his home with family at his side. Bob was born March 18, 1935 in Fredricks City, Maryland the son of Pearl and Carlton Bazzell, and was raised in Cooksville, Maryland. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and deployed to Fort Wolters Mineral Wells in 1955 where he later met and married Wilma Louise Rogers. Bob made Mineral Wells his home for 58 years. Services will be 4 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at First Christian Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home annex. Bob was preceded in death by his wife: Wilma Rogers Bazzell in 2008 and a grandson: Ryan Bazzell also in 2008. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Bobby and Pat, Jimmy and Jane, Danny and Sarah, grandchildren: Brady, Jacy, Trey, Blair, Ean, Daniel, Ryan, Trevor, Emily, Chelsie, and Zach, great-grandchildren: Sadie Beth, Callie Joe, Bryson, Brylynn, Briston, Bristol, Paisley, Daniella, and Weston, lifelong friend: Rosemary Barkley, sister and brother-in-law: Lillian and Donald Null of Maryland, brother and sister-in-law: Carlton and Francis Bazzell of Maryland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
