Ricky Wooten

Ricky Wooten 55 of Mineral Wells passed away in a Dallas hospital on January 24, 2011. Ricky was born in Mineral Wells, the son of Theodore and Geneva Maxwell Wooten, after spending time in the Navy and Army Ricky settled back in Mineral Wells. He spent numerous summers volunteering as a cook for Dunbar Neighborhood Council, he also worked as a cook for many food establishments in Mineral Wells and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by Theodore Wooten Jr. of Fort Worth, Barbara and Ennis Palmer of Brookshire, Carolyn and Henry Francois of Mineral Wells, Michael and Marie Wooten of Houston, Geneva and Earnest Massey of Fort Worth, Gary Wooten of Bryan, Sherry Wooten of Fort Worth and Connie Wooten of Dallas along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousin Howard White and aunt Dorthy McCalvary both of Detroit Michigan. He was preceded by his father and mother, brother; Howard White. The service will be at 6th Ave Church of Christ on Tuesday February 1st at 11am with internment following at Woodland Park Cemetery.
