Ricky Nutt

Ricky Wayne Nutt departed his earthly confines on Saturday June 28, 2014 from Baylor Medical's T. Boone Pickens Cancer Center in Dallas, Texas. A memorial service/celebration of life will be Thursday July 3, 2014 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to your favorite charity. Ricky was born March 29, 1954; he attended elementary school in River Oaks, Texas and in 1972 graduated from LD Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. In 1976 he was awarded an associate degree in science from Thomas Jefferson Community College in Hampton, Virginia. Ricky loved working with his hands and was an excellent artist, VW mechanic and machinist which led to his extended career with Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed working to improve his hilltop home overlooking Palo Pinto Lake, gardening, working in his shop and grilling for and entertaining his friends and family. Survivors include his loving wife and partner Stacie Jones Nutt, beloved daughter Amanda Stover and husband Justin, his grandsons and best pals Jaden and Jaxon Stover, his parents Richard and Tempe Nutt, sister Becky Tester and husband Joseph, niece Lindsey Barger and nephew Sean Tester, mother-in-law and father-in-law Beth and Marvin Jones.
