Richard Underwood

Richard Underwood of Mineral Wells passed into his Lord's arms on April 30, 2016. He was born in Mineral Wells; the son of Michael Underwood and Tammy Keele Underwood. Richard's Lord and Savior called him home to be in the arms of Jesus much earlier than most, guess the good Lord needed him as much as we all did. Richard was a very loving man that never saw a stranger. He loved his children, family, and his many friends. Richard had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, helicopters, and being at the family deer lease. Richard could always make you laugh and he always had a story to tell. He was a master at hugs and taking up for the "little guy" or down trodden. He will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Indian Creek Baptist Church at 2pm. Monty Parker Jr. will be officiating at the church and Bill Sessum will be officiating at Woodland Park Cemetery. He leaves behind his parents Mike and Tammy Underwood; children, Cloa Kay and Brent and their mother Heather Underwood; sister, Stephanie Parker and husband Monty Jr.; nephew, Riggin Parker; niece, Kirsten Parker; adopted uncle, Ritchie Lester; and numerous cousins and friends.
