Richard Lee Turner

Richard Lee Turner, 77 of Graford passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 10, 2011.He was the son of Troy and Ruth Duval Turner born in Merced Ca. He served the Lord for many years as a minster this carried him and his family all over the U.S. and gave them many lasting memories. He finally settled in Graford, Texas, upon retiring from full time preaching, He and his wife served the Lord through children's ministry and later became known as the "balloon man" for all the joy he brought children in creating balloon animals for them.He is survived by wife; Betty Turner, daughter; Norma Vaughn and husband Todd of Dallas, sons; Jeff Turner and wife Margaret of Pantego and James Turner of Possum Kingdom Lake, grandchildren; Betty Turner, Jeffery Turner Jr., Shawnee Turner, Devan Turner, Richard Vaughn and Seth Vaughn. Visitation will be at Baum Carlock Bumgardner on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 6-8pm. The family will be providing a memorial service on Tuesday, February 15, at 2pm at Possum Kingdom Baptist Church.
