Richard Allen McFadden

We lost our beloved husband, father, papa, brother, and friend, Richard Allen McFadden, on Friday May 26,2023.
Richard was born on May 20, 1955 to Jack and Doris McFadden of Mineral Wells. He was the youngest of ten children. Richard married Trina McFadden May 24th, 1996. He had 3 children that he cherished. Richard did janitorial work for over 30 years that he loved very much. He loved watching westerns, reading books, spending time, and playing with his grandkids. Everyone knew him by the jokes he loved to tell. He was always surrounded by those he loved.

Richard is survived by his wife, Trina McFadden of Mineral Wells; his daughters, Shelby McFadden, Alisha Leatherman and her fiancé Jesse Hicks; son, Timothy Leatherman; grandchildren, Bentley Isbell ,Paisley Silva, Carson Leatherman, Skyler Hicks, Kayden Leatherman, Hayden Leatherman, Wyatt Leatherman and Mackenzie Parum; his siblings, Phil and Betty Phelps, Mj Gilley, Sharon Jontra, Inez Meeks, Alveta and Joe Bishop; brother-in-law, Joe Moore and sister in law, Diane McFadden; multiple nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Doris McFadden; his siblings, Jackie Moore, Tommy McFadden, Bobby McFadden and Marvin McFadden.

Graveside services will be held 10 am, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Willow Pond Cemetery.
