Reva Nipp

Reva Maxine Nipp 87 of Gorman went to be with her Lord on September 6, 2011. She was born in Palo Pinto County the daughter of LeRoy "Buddy" and Thyrza Mitchell Storm. Reva grew in Brad on Ioni Creek and knew that hard work and belief in the greater good would always prevail. She spent many days hauling cedar post and working around the house, which became a full time job with the large family she had. She was like a surrogate mother to the Brad community, if you were at her house around eating time, no matter how many there was, you ate. Kids from all around came to play with her children and enjoyed Reva's hospitality. She was a very loving mother and cherished her family and friends very much. She touched so many lives, and the memories are many, this is just a few of the reasons she will be missed so much by all who knew her. Survivors are sons Eugene and wife Linda Nipp of Rodgers Arkansas, LeRoy and wife Donna Nipp of Breckenridge, TX, and Bimbo Nipp of Eastland; daughters Pauline Gosset and Roberta Stewart of Mineral Wells, Vicki and husband Johnny Majors of Gorman, and Nitta and husband Cooter McLain of Chandler, TX; son in law Bobby Jones of Chandler, TX; one brother and 4 sisters; 29 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 23 great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, husband Verner Nipp, daughter Shirlene Jones, son Anthony Nipp and two sisters. Funeral service is Friday September 9, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel with Bobby Williams officiating, burial will follow at Brad Cemetery.
