Reta Patterson

Reta Patterson, 82, passed away July 27, 2023. She was born October 1, 1940, in Lubbock, to Ruben and Leeta Chandler Stewart. 

Ned and Reta spent many years selling fresh fruit and vegetables to the good people of Mineral Wells as owners of Patterson Produce. Upon retirement they spent many years wintering in the Valley of Texas. Reta loved gardening and books. Her greatest passion was reading books.

Survivors include her husband, Ned Patterson of Jacksboro; daughter, Nancy Watson and husband Lonnie of Bryson; son, Roy Patterson and wife Sue of Mineral Wells; granddaughter, Shayla Bruton and husband Micael of Mineral Wells; great-grandsons, Isaiah Garcia and Gunner Bruton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Reta was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emily Fae Watson and various aunts, uncles, and other family.

Visitation will be 2-4 Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Sturdivant Cemetery.
