Rayburn Jay Hatfield

Rayburn Jay Hatfield, 75, passed away September 3, 2018 at his home in North Richland Hills. He was born May 31, 1943 in Palo Pinto County the son of Joe Smith and Willie Otha Sweek Hatfield. He married Terry Lynn Booth on April 17, 1963 in Mineral Wells and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2002. He had lived in North Richland hills for the past 10 years. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Ray and Tammy Hatfield of Fort Worth, grandchildren: Tim Hatfield, Troy Hatfield, Austin Westbrook, and Victoria Westbrook, great-grandson: Rico Hatfield, sisters: Ella Stewart and Nancy Dodson, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
