Randy Joe Evans

Randy Joe Evans, of Mineral Wells, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the age of 58. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Millsap with Rev. Tom Jones and Dr. Tracy Cook officiating.Randy was born in Price, Utah to the late Vernon (Reese) and Ramona (Kilcrease) Evans. He was a Christian who devoted his life to his faith, family and work. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Millsap. Randy was employed with Wal-Mart for over 25 years in both Utah and Texas, with his last 18 years being in the Mineral Wells store as a department manager. He built many friendships over the years with his exceptional customer service and personal skills. He could always bring a smile to your face. Randy was an avid sports enthusiast and would be seen at most Millsap sporting events where he supported and cheered on his Bulldogs.Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon (Reese) and Ramona Evans. He is survived by his wife, Desty Evans and daughter, Brandi Evans of Mineral Wells; brother, Reesie (Virginia) Evans of Price, Utah; brother-in-laws, Bobby (Libby) Childress, Denny (Collette) Osburn, Chad (Sara) Osburn; sister-in-law Chere (Tom) Jones; father-in-law, Warren (Marti) Osburn; nieces Jennifer Kerr and Monica Dolanwheeler, along with numerous other nephews and nieces.
