Rachel Jones

Rachel Christopher Jones, 82, passed away August 24, 2010 at her residence in Mineral Wells. She was born November 29, 1927 in Point the daughter of German and Viola Harris Blaylock. She married Whitson Jones on November 18, 1957. She had lived in Mineral Wells since 1943. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Mt. Hermon First Baptist Church. She was a cosmetologist. Services will be 1 PM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Mt. Hermon First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her daughter: Lisa Marie Jones, aunt: Modis Mayberry of Point, uncle: H. T. Turner of Point, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Whitson Jones, and her parents.
