R. L. Brown

R. L. Brown, 69, passed away November 3, 2010 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born March 1, 1941 in Dalton, Georgia the son of Ralph and Delma Brown. He was married to Margaret Schisler and she preceded him in death on March 26, 2006. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and worked for Norman's Plumbing for 25 years. He was a great father and grandfather. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Myron Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Staggs Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survive by his children: Debbie Sutton, Melody Blakeley, Jimmy, Eddie, and Robert Brown, Cindy Eller, 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, mother: Delma Brown, sisters: Carolyn Durance, Mary, and Kate, and brothers: Chuck, Billy, and J. D. Brown. He was also preceded in death by his father, 3 grandchildren, and 1 brother.
