Prudence Edwards Young Hall

Prudence "Pru" Edwards Young Hall, 94, passed away September 22, 2016 in Weatherford. Services will be 10 AM Monday, September 26, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Santo. Burial will follow in Santo North Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home Annex. She was born February 15, 1922 to John C. and Alice Cunningham Edwards near Natty Flat, Texas. She lived most of her life in Palo Pinto County. She married J. V. (Red) Young on November 22, 1941 in Weatherford, and they lived in the Santo Community. She worked for Pioneer American Insurance in Fort Worth from the early 50's to the late 70's. Mr. Young preceded her I death on July 28, 1970. She married J. M. Hall in November of 1976 and he died May 2, 2001. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Kathy Young, granddaughters and spouses: Sheila and Troy Humphrey, Kelly and Jerry Carreon, great-grandchildren: Taylor and Tyler Humphrey, Drew, Avery, and Aspen Carreon, 8 nieces, 7 nephews, step-daughter and husband: Annetta and Bob Lemley, 6 step-grandchildren, 19 step-great-grandchildren, and 6 step-great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
