Phyllis Rhea Shirley Wright

Phyllis Rhea (Shirley) Wright passed from the earth on Tuesday November 11, 2014 at Gentivia Hospice in Fort Worth. Phyllis was the daughter of Esther L. Dilbeck and Charlie C. Jones. She was born in Stradford, Oklahoma on February 6, 1931. Phyllis was 83 at the time of her death and a longtime resident of Mineral Wells, Texas.She was a good Christian believer and loved the Lord. She loved her family and Christian friends who will miss her dearly. She touched many people with her acts of kindness and love.Phyllis was a loving wife to Roy Don Wright and mother to her children: sons Jerry A. Staggs, Gary M. Staggs, Joe B. Shirley Jr.; daughters Sherry L. Cantrell, Crystal D. Duran and step daughters Patricia (Shirley) McGee, Rita K. (Shirley) Ford; sister Patricia Karvoski; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Esther Jones, three brothers and two sisters, husband Bill Shirley Sr. and stepdaughter Patricia McGee.Funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church 708 SE 5th St. Mineral Wells, TX. at 2pm on Friday November 14, 2014. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday November 13, 2014 from 6-8pm in the funeral home chapel.
