Phyllis Jean (Quaid) Woods

Phyllis Jean (Quaid) Woods, 64, of Mineral Wells died November 8, 2013 in a Fort Worth hospital. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday November 12, 2013 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner with Aaron Shaddox Officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.Phyllis was born January 10, 1949 in Comanche Oklahoma to Richard and Marie Fredrick Quaid. She attended high school in Comanche Oklahoma. She attended Cameron Junior College in Lawton, Oklahoma. Phyllis received her Bachelors from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Phyllis was a teacher at Pack Saddle in Kingsland, Texas and In Grand Prairie and a substitute teacher at CCA and for Weatherford ISD and Mineral Wells ISD. She was a Christian.Her parents and one sister Jo Ann Quaid preceded Ms. Woods in death.Phyllis is survived by sons Sean Kirby and wife Desiree and Chad Kirby and wife Priscilla. Stepson Alan Woods step daughters Alysia Autry and Angela Reid; Grandchildren Daphne, Blayne, Chris, Caleb, Emily, and Joshua; Step grandchildren Ethan, Ben, Leah, Rhett, Riley, Brittany, and Brandon; One brother Richard Quaid and wife Charlene, one sister Shirley Olsovsky and husband Ben As well as numerous nieces nephews and friends.
