Phillip Willard Ramsey

Phillip Willard Ramsey, 90, passed away September 9, 2015 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. He was born December 6, 1924 in Strawn the son of Clark and Etta Mae Stephens Ramsey. He married Bertha Faye Shewmake on February 6, 1947 in Weatherford. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in WWII. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Staggs Prairie Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Bertha Faye Ramsey of Mineral Wells, sons and daughter-in-law: Phil Ramsey of Granbury, Bill and Paula Ramsey of Mineral Wells, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law: Karen Ramsey of The Colony, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and son: Lynn Ramsey.
