Perry William Purefoy, Jr., 57, died Monday, March 30, 2009, at his home in Weatherford, Texas. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4th, in the Baum- Carlock- Bumgardner Chapel with Reverend Steve Edge officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitt cemetery. Perry was born July 23, 1951 in Mineral Wells, Texas, the son of Perry Purefoy, Sr. and Bernadine Riley. He was the proud owner of Perry's Automotive Machine Shop in Mineral Wells for seventeen years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Purefoy, Sr., mother, Bernadine Riley, and brother-in-law Jimmy Wofford, all of Mineral Wells. He is survived by: His sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Leesa Purefoy of Weatherford and Brian and Rindy Purefoy of Lipan; daughters and son-in-law, Stefanie and Darren Gresham of Weatherford and Brandy Purefoy of Weatherford; sisters, Patsy Wofford and Carol Bean and husband Bobby all of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Keagan, Madison, Trinity and Dylan Purefoy all of Weatherford and Presley Purefoy of Lipan; several nieces and nephews including nephew, David Wofford and Darrell Wofford, of Mineral Wells, and nieces, Donna Gonzales, Dusty Putman and Taylor and Donna Bean all of Mineral Wells; aunt, Onita Crounse of Mineral Wells; uncle, Wesley Purefoy of Mineral Wells, cousins, Royce Purefoy, Sonny Archer, George Purefoy, Lamar Crounse, Oliece Crounse, AI Crounse and Peggy Crounse; several great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives.
