Peggy Ragle, 76 of Graford passed away May 31th at her home. Service will be June 3rd 10:00am at the Graford Church of Christ with burial following at Graford Cemetery. Peggy was born in Gregg County; the daughter of Raymond and Lavoda (Fulfer) Blue. Peggy could have been called an all-around cowgirl, her early life revolved around horses; riding, training, showing halter and performance horses and breeding them. If you went to have a casual Sunday ride with Peggy you would have left knowing much more about proper riding than when you started. In 1955 she was a rodeo queen in Mineral Wells. She was on state championship bowling teams and loved to dance when she had spare time. You did not want to challenge Peggy to a shuffleboard game, as she loved to play; especially with her family in the barn. Peggy was a strong lady and loved her family and enjoyed time spent with them; she had a special place in her heart for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by son Keith and his wife Susie Ragle of Graford; grandchildren Kasey and wife Ticia Ragle of Breckenridge, Kent and wife Megan Ragle of Graford and Koby and wife Amanda Ragle of Mineral Wells; great-grandchildren Keaton, Zaea, Trenton and Jaxon along with Tracy and Bailey Moody; brothers Alvin and wife Nelva Blue and Buddy and wife Janie Blue. Peggy was blessed with many special lifelong friends and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband Sheridan Ragle and parents.
