Pearl Schultz passed away on January 5, 2016; Heaven has gained another angel. Visitation will be Friday January 15, 6-8 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 16; 2 pm at Hughes Chapel. She was born in Tulahoma, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Louis and Tommie (Noon) Wilhoite. She attended Davidson Academy Private School until she met and married Earl Junius Hickerson; and of this union two daughters were born. Earlyn Hickerson Smith and Gilda Hickerson Wilson. She later met and married the love of her life Walter Casper Schultz Sr. February 17, 1950 in Salina County Arkansas. Of this union six children were born. Joyce Schultz Mullins, Janice Schultz, Vanessa Schultz Simmons, Victoria Schultz Simmons and Michael Schultz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Tommie Noon Wilhoite, husband Walter Casper Schultz Sr., one son, Walter Casper Schultz Jr., two brothers, Claude Peppers and Melvin Peppers and one sister, Thelma Peppers. Pearl leaves to cherish her precious memories seven children, Earlyn Smith and husband Clarence of Warren, MI. Gilda Wilson, Janice Schultz, Vanessa Simmons and Victoria Simmons all of Mineral Wells, Texas, Joyce Mullins of Fort Worth, Texas and Michael Schultz of Dallas Texas. One step-daughter, Marcella Hickerson Battles and husband Bill of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Thirteen grandchildren, Raymond Schultz and wife Katrina, Letanya Schultz, Ronald Priester Jr., Pamela Schultz, Toni Lopez, Tasha Schultz and husband Alford, Brian Priester and wife Kumi, Reginald Schultz Sr. and wife Brandi, Keith Schultz, Melissa Harvey, Joshua Schultz Sr., Myron Lewis and wife Katrina and Walter Schultz III along with numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends. Special friend Arthur G. Cross Sr. and two best friends Ophelia Rhea and Eva Reed. A special thanks to Hospice, Integra Care, Palo Pinto General Hospital, Harris Hospital and SouthWest Rehabilitation Center of Fort Worth.
