Pauline White

Pauline E. Bielss White 97, of Mineral Wells, passed to her Lords waiting arms on June 25, 2013. She was born July 11, 1915 in Joshua, Texas to August and Ethel Hicks Bielss. At age 3 Pauline moved to Mineral Wells. She started school in the Little Rock School House and graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1933. Pauline married Marcus "Pete" White in June of 1933. After living in the Progress Community since 1939, Pete and Pauline purchased 40 acres of land in December 1946. Pete built their home and they moved in on December 19th, 1950. Pete was a farmer and carpenter. Pauline was a department store manager for 39 years for 3 different owners until her retirement in November of 1982.Two sons were born to this marriage, Kenneth Gene White and Joe Alan White. Pauline's husband Pete passed away on December 28, 2000 after 68 years of marriage. After Pete's passing she lived in their home until July 2012 and enjoyed good health and good neighbors. She and Pete were members of Eleventh Avenue Church since February 1980. She loved her church family and was blessed with a host of friends. Pauline is survived by sons, Kenneth White and wife Doris of Mineral Wells, Joe White and wife Hilda of Richmond, Texas. Pauline was affectionately known as "Mother White". She loved her 7 grandchildren: Kenny White, Cheryl Baldwin, Keith White, Christy White, Erica White, Monique Montecinos and TJ Montecinos and her 10 great-grandchildren: Marcus White, Paulette Hernandez, Felicia Crouch, Kristen Williamson, Michelle Aguiluz, Haylie Montecinos, Makayla Montecinos, Heather Montecinos, Ryan McBee and Gayla McBee; and 3 great-great grandchildren: Kade Crouch, Tatum McBee and Isabella McBee. Also are nephews Jim Bielss and wife Harriet of Mineral Wells and Vernon Bielss of Hurst, Texas; cousins, Leon Teddlie and wife Jessie of Whitt, Texas and Elouise Crosslin Gay of Weatherford, Texas. Visitation is from 6-8pm Friday June 28, 2013 at the funeral home; service is Saturday June 29, 2013 at 2pm in the chapel, burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
