Pauline Maude Merritt

Pauline Maude Merritt passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at her home. She was born April 14, 1922 the daughter of Robert and Lelia Cannaday Thurman, in Anthony, KS. Pauline was a member of Southside Church of Christ and Order of the Eastern Star, Prudence Chapter 44 in Mineral Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Merritt and step-son, Lewis Merritt.Survivors include her children, Doug Davis and wife Mary, Dorothy Burns, Rebecca Brice and husband Steven, Judy Spencer and husband Glenn; step-children, Mona Kernagis and husband Tony, Roy Merritt and wife Shanna, Wesley Merritt and wife Robin, Lance Merritt, Beth Fitz and husband Mike; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 23 at Southside Church of Christ with Dheryl Sherrill officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
