Pauline Gossett

Pauline Gossett 71 of Mineral Wells passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 10, 2014. She was born in Ponder, Texas; the daughter of Douglas and Reva (Storm) Smith. Pauline finished high school and went on to get an associate's degree in accounting/bookkeeping. She filled every second of her life with laughter, love and happiness and was fortunate enough to live life on her terms; something few of us never get to do. She was considered the "neighborhood" granny to many children. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never passed an opportunity in trying to make someone smile and enjoying her company. Survivors are children: Walter Hight of Brad, Carolin Teague of Mineral Wells, Jeremey Gossett of Mineral Wells and Steven Gossett of Louisville; extended children Rana and Dewayne Downs and Doug Stevens; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Eugene Nipp, Roberta Stewart, Vicki Majors, Leroy Nipp, Dwight Nipp and Netta McLean. She was preceded in death by: husband Burnis Gossett; parents, a sister and brother. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 14 at 11AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Brad Cemetery
