Patsy Thornton

Patsy Nell Thornton of Santo passed into her Lords waiting arms on August 16, 2016. She was born in Santo, Texas; the daughter of Joseph Sparks and Ora (Steen) Sparks. Visitation will be Friday 6-8pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be Saturday August 20, 2016, 10:30am at Santo Baptist Church. Pat and Frank owned and operated Thornton Mercantile in Santo from 1968-1998. She was very active with her family, church and community. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Santo and the Eastern Star for over fifty years. She was loved by everyone. She leaves behind husband, Frank Thornton of 65 years of Santo; daughter, Connie Thornton of Santo; granddaughter Kristen Box and husband Delton of Santo; great grandchildren, Taygan, Korbyn and Preston of Santo; son Danny Thornton and wife Raetta of Cozmel; granddaughter, Erica Thornton of San Antonio; grandson Hunter Thornton of Stephenville and sister Jean Chesnut of Hurst along with numerous brother-in-law's, sister-in-law's, nieces and nephews.
