Patsy Roe Herring LaFever died on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the daughter of Frank Gravlee and Veda Gallegher Gravlee and has been a resident of the Mineral Wells area since 1962. She was a very dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. As a homemaker, she spent many hours preparing three meals a day for her family, this is something her children and grandchildren will always remember fondly. Her favorite way to spend time relaxing with her family was listening to music and dancing. She was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by five daughters, Darla Gail Foreman of Santo, Patty Jane Guzman of Mineral Wells, Deborah Lynn Herring of Gatesville, Darla May Hopkins of Mineral Wells, and Donna Marlene Ford of Mineral Wells; four sons, Matt Lewis Herring of Gatesville, Paul Jay Sutton of Mineral Wells, F.L. Herring of Mineral Wells, Joe William Herring of Walnut Springs; two brothers, Billy Gravlee and James Gravlee; two sisters, Linda Wiley and Yvonne Stevens; 33 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband, William Dearl Herring Sr.; children, William Dearl Herring Jr. and Joe Lee Herring; grandchildren Cassandra Michele Herring, Kasey Marlene Thompson and William Dearl Herring III; and 4 great grandchildren. The family will be providing a graveside memorial service Sunday October 2, 2011 at Santo North Cemetery at 10:00 A.M.
