Patrick "Pat" Kay Wells

Patrick “Pat” Kay Wells was called home to be with the Lord peacefully surrounded by his loved ones after a lengthy illness on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Pat was born March 17, 1946 the son of Leon and Thelma Warren Wells. He was a lifelong resident of Mineral Wells. 

 On June 11, 1976 Pat married the love of his life Penny Huddleston where they created a life long, loving, relationship full of trips, fun times, laughter, and lots of great adventures with family and friends.

 Pat had the opportunity to have worked many jobs as a lot of them were with his son Casey in later years doing everything he loved from trucking, operating heavy equipment, to working the hay fields on his tractors, and always eager to give all the grandbabies rides around the land.

 Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Kenneth and Donald and sister Linda.

 Pat is survived by his wife Penny, son Casey and wife Kristi, daughter Rondell Edmunds, son by marriage Billy Patton, daughter by marriage Angie Hailey, sister Barbara Mask and husband Freddie, grandchildren Alisha and husband Daniel Timmons, Balea, Cayson, Kadi, and Kaci, and many more precious grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.

 There was never a dull moment around Pat as he lived life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly.

 Services will be held 2 PM Monday, February 3, 2025 at City View Community Church. The visitation is from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
