Patricia Griggs

On Sunday February 4th ,2018 Patricia Ann Griggs, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother Sister and Friend, died at the age of 77. Born April 29th, 1940 in Massachusetts, Pat lived in several places while her father was in the Army, but always considered herself a "Yankee" despite living in Texas for the last 62 years of her life. Pat will forever be remembered by her husband Dave and two children Mary Beth and Scott and her grandchildren Pamela and family, Brian and family and Jesse and her great grandchildren Danielle and Layton, her sister Mary and her nieces, nephews and countless Fiends. Pat was a career educator and counselor, spending her professional life with elementary age children in the Beaumont and San Antonio School Districtsalways emphasizing the importance of an education. Drawing from what appeared to be and endless well-spring of energy, Pat was constantly on the go, making the most of every single day, never backing down from a challenge, always stretching her limits. Memorial Services will be held at 10AM this Wednesday February 5th, at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home, 302 West Hubbard St, Mineral Wells, TX. 76068 The Family is requesting Memorial Donations in the name of Patricia Griggs be sent The Susan G. Komen Foundation to fight Breast Cancer.
