Patricia Coylene Bruchey

Patricia (Pat) Coylene Bruchey passed away at her home in Mineral Wells, Texas on February 21, 2024 at the age of eighty-three.   She was the wife of Stuart Bruchey, Sr.   They shared sixty-four years of marriage together.

Pat was born in Athens, Texas, she was the daughter of Joseph Coy and Mary Witherspoon. She graduated from the Blinn College nursing program and worked at the St. Jude Hospital Pharmacy and the Brenham Nursing Home.   She also worked with her husband in the family painting and siding business for many years.  After leaving Carmine, Texas they moved to Mineral Wells where she worked at Wal-Mart for several years.

Pat enjoyed stained glass art in her earlier years and as of late could always be found with a jigsaw puzzle nearby.

Pat is survived by her husband Stuart Bruchey, Sr., sister Evelyn Gobel and husband Freddie, daughter Callie Korth and husband David, son Stuart Bruchey, Jr. and wife Tonya. Pat is also survived by grandchildren: RJ Rychlik, Phillip Rychlik, Jessica Grimes, Lauren Jorgenjon, Jacob Crnkovic, and a niece Linda Ferenz.  She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary Coy.

A small family memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Texas.
