Pamela Sue Tatum

July 30, 1946 — September 14, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Pamela Tatum announces her passing on Monday, September 14, 2020, at the age of 74 years.  Pam passed at her home in Mineral Wells after a battle with cancer.  Pam will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alvin; her daughters, Stephanie Hobbs of Ft. Worth and Sheila Cook of Mineral Wells; and her stepchildren, Natalie Harris of Bedford and Woody Tatum of Florida. Pam will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Eryn, Dylan, Carley, Melissa, Randy and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Julia and Brooklyn; her brother, Richard Ramsey of St. Louis; sisters, Leslye Marvin of Ft. Worth and Deanna DeSousa of Stockholm, Sweden; and many other family members and friends.

Pam was born on July 30, 1946 in Bowie, TX to Richard and Dorothy Ramsey.  She graduated from Kermit High School and attended college where she majored in English and French.  After retiring, Pam enjoyed volunteering at the local Community Center and her church, taking painting lessons and crocheting.


A viewing will be held at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells Wednesday, September 16 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services in memory of Pam will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Dobbs Valley Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, TX. Interment will follow at Dobbs Valley Cemetery.
