Orvan Dee Watts, 74, passed away February 6, 2009 at his residence in Mineral Wells. He was born September 4, 1934 in Jones County, Texas the son of Floyd Charles and Gracie Elizabeth Ricks Watts. He was a member of Oaks Crossing Baptist Church. He married Frankie Dudley on May 17, 1952 in Lubbock. Services were 2 PM Monday, February 9, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Terry Mitchell and Rev. Larry Watts officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Frankie Watts, daughter Lewana Watts and fiancé Roy Jones, son and daughter-in-law: Joe and Kathy Watts, grandchildren and spouses: Tina Monzon, Carla and Jason Hite all of Mineral Wells, Ory and Jennifer Wiggins of Freemont, Nebraska, Larry and Jasmon Shivers of Albuquerque, New Mexico, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers: Elmer and Harmon Watts both of Mineral Wells, Larry Watts of Lake Jackson, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Gayla Shivers, grandchildren: Stephanie and Jennifer Watts, brother: Delton Watts, and sisters: Pearl Grigsby and Charlene Bradley.
