Ora Lee Montgomery

Ora Lee Montgomery, 78, passed away November 12, 2013 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born December 11, 1934 in Clayton, Oklahoma the daughter of Lee and Mildred Roquemore Chestnut. She married Monty Montgomery on April 16, 1953 in Graham. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of North Oak Church of Christ. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She helped her husband get the Montgomery Tax Service started. Services will be 1 PM Friday, November 15, 2013 at North Oak church of Christ. Burial will follow in Finis Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children: Bob Montgomery and wife Tina of Perrin, Ernie Montgomery of Mineral Wells, Penny Maslyk of Mineral Wells, 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, twin brother: Oran B. Chestnut of Graham, sisters: Emma Rehberg of Fort Worth, Kay Wall of Roanoke, brother-in-law: J. B. Holland of Roanoke, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Jane Holland, brother: Joe Chestnut, and her husband on December 7, 2012.
