Opal Marie Hill

Opal Marie Hill passed away January 12, 2014 in a Fort Worth hospital. She was born June 28, 1941 in Dallas the daughter of Roy Dale and Dolly Marie Grimes Jones. She married Raymond Hill on September 5, 1957 in Smithville. Opal gave her heart to God while in her early 20's, and her relationship with Him was one of the most important aspects of her life and the greatest legacy that she leaves behind. She was a faithful member of Dobbs Valley Baptist Church. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Dobbs Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dobbs Valley Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband Raymond Hill of Brazos, TX, and sons Danny Hill of Oklahoma City, OK, and Dennis Hill and his wife Denise Hill of Haslet, TX; four granddaughters: Jamie Hill, Lauren Hill, Skylar Hill and Meaghan Hill; one grandson, Joshua Hill; sisters DiAnna Jones of Arlington, TX, and Mickey Bull of Weatherford, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews that she considered to be her very own.
