Omer Clark Jr.

Omer "John" Clark Jr., 90, passed away April 7, 2015 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born January 20, 1925 in Palo Pinto the son of Omer John Sr. and Ruth Newman Clark. He married Helen Lydia Sayler in December of 1952 in Billings, Montana. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. He was a veteran of the US Marines having served in WWII. Graveside services will be 4 PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his children: Cheryl Ewing, John Wayne Clark, Robert Clark, Mark Clark, and Gail Clark Martinez, grandchildren: Chris Jones, Frances Trejo, Tammy Clark, Jennifer Weatherly, Jaymee Clark, Robert "Buddy" Clark, Misty Clark, Emily Helen Clark, Marty Martinez, 21 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law: Alice Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on May 29, 1997, 3 brothers, and granddaughters: Erica Clark & Tasha Jones.
