Oliver Glover

Oliver Lee Glover, 74, passed away January 22, 2009 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born September 12, 1934 in Palo Pinto the son of Homer Lee and Hattie Ray Lively Glover. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. He married Opal Maxine Spurgeon in 1953 in Mineral Wells and she preceded him in death on February 29, 1999. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Jimmy Lively officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Pond Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his children: Darwin Lee Glover of Eastland, Vicki Lynn Savage of Millsap, Melanie Colleen Glover of Comanche, Melissa Maxine Spikes of Lipan, Vanessa Linea Bozzell of Millsap, grandchildren and spouses: David and Angela Savage, Larry and Michelle Savage, Cody Savage, Billy Bozzell, Natasha and Shane Strickland, Shaydie McMullin, Breeanna and Dusty Parker, Savannah Stuckey, Darwin Lee Glover, Jr., Christopher Glover, Mandy, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters: Malvenia Wyatt of Mineral Wells, Rena Mae Messina of Mesquite, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents and son: Oliver Stephen Glover.
