Norman Brown

Norman Harold Brown Sr., 79, passed away October 11, 2017 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born January 13, 1938 in Graford the son of W. H. and Opal Isabelle Whatley Brown. He married Diane Pruitt on September 26, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has 30 years of distinguished service with the Dallas Fire Department from 1957-1987. He was a member of Cityview Community Church. He loved his family dearly. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Graford Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home annex. He is survived by his wife of 37 years: Diane Brown, sons and daughters-in-law: Hal and Tami Brown, Tommy and Michele Brown, daughters and sons-in-law: Jerry and Dodie Peek, O'Linda Brown, sister: Shirley Powell, brother and sister-in-law: Benny and Sue Brown, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughters: Connie and Sherilynn Brown. The family wishes to express special appreciation to Solaris Hospice especially Stacey Droz and Andie Hicks.
