Noah Thomas (Dude) Mainard, 84, passed away October 6, 2010 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born January 31, 1926 in Robstown, Texas the son of Loson Gidie and Eva Marie Potter Mainard. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and had lived in Wagoner, Oklahoma for many years, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Services will be 5 PM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Church of Christ on 300 SE 15th St. in Mineral Wells with Donnie Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Marvin Loyd Jr., J. T. Mainard, Justin Pilkington, Ricky Rushing, Kiason Turner, and Keith Turner. The honorary pallbearers will be George Turner and Bill Pullum. He is survived by his wife: Gladys Mainard of Mineral Wells, daughter: Debra Loyd of Mineral Wells, sons: Tommy Mainard and Jim Mainard both of Wagoner, Oklahoma, daughter: Lauren Mainard of Dallas, daughter: Janice Cody of Wagoner, Oklahoma, grandchildren: Marvin Loyd Jr., Julia Pilkington, Kelly Rushing, Amy Maxwell, J. T. Mainard, Angela Scroggins, Melanie Ode, Ron, Joe, and Zachary Cody, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, sister: Waldo Sam of Muskogee, Oklahoma, sister-in-law: Lillie Mae Mainard of Kelso, Washington, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: George and Lee Turner of Mineral Wells, Bill and Laura Pullum of Mineral Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, and daughter: Shelly Leann Mainard.
