Nicolas Colwell

Nicolas "Nick" Ray Colwell, 19 of Mineral Wells departed this life Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Mineral Wells. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Rosary will be 7 PM Tuesday. Nick was born April 21, 1990 in Weatherford, TX, the son of Tony and Ernestine Ortiz Colwell. He moved to Fort Worth where he attended J. P. Elder Jr. High School and returned to Mineral Wells in 2004. He was an extruder operator at Southwire in Mineral Wells. Survivors include his father, Tony Colwell of Mineral Wells; mother and stepfather, Ernestine and Antonio Lujan of Ft. Worth; brother, Nathan Colwell and wife, Amanda of Mineral Wells; nieces, Caitlyn and Cadence Colwell; nephew, Nathan Colwell, Jr.; girlfriend, Amber Gray of Mineral Wells; grandfather, Archie Colwell of Mineral Wells; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Colwell in 1978 and grandparents, Lucille and Mike Ortiz and Juanita Colwell.
