Nelva Blue

Nelva Blue of Gordon passed away on January 6, 2016. Heaven has another angel now. She was born in Strawn, Texas. The daughter of the late L.S. and May (Durham) Goree. She married the love of her life; Alvin Blue in August of 1953 and spent many years traveling and playing golf with her husband and friends.She leaves behind husband, Alvin Blue of 61 years; son, Billy Blue; grandchildren, Crystal Jones and husband Luke, Cody Blue and wife Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Addison and Easton Blue; sisters, Betty Walker and husband Lyle and Dorothy McFadden and husband Don along with numerous nieces and nephews.She is preceded by parents, and a brother, Dub Goree.Visitation will be Thursday January 7, 2016 from 6-8 pm; graveside service will be at Gordon Cemetery 10 am January 8, 2016.
