Nelson Townsend

Nelson Loye Townsend Jr., 52, passed away August 8, 2012 at his home in Santo. He was born December 21, 1959 in Texarkana the son of Nelson Sr. and Sophie Rukat Townsend. He married Gwen Dahlhauser in July of 1987 in Strawn. He was a longtime resident of Santo. Services will be 10 AM Monday, August 13, 2012 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Gwen Townsend of Santo, children: Tamra and Tonya Townsend of Santo, sisters and brothers-in-law: Candy and Eddie Beyer of Waco, Tammy and Lynn Haehn of Lake Palo Pinto, Dale and Joe Hopkins of Strawn, mother: Sophie Townsend of Lake Palo Pinto, and special friends: Willie Cook of Azle, James Huddleston of Millsap, Floyd Gaines of Millsap, Terry Hartnagle of Millsap, Larry Ellis of Santo, Patty and Bill Oksa of Mineral Wells, Clayborn Taylor of Mineral Wells, Doug Geeo of Millsap, and Justin Herring of Millsap.
