On 13 August 2018, Nelda Jean (Crawford-Courtney) Hardy, stepped out of this world into the presence of God Almighty. She was born 2 February 1936. Nelda is preceded to Heaven by her first husband, Donald L. Courtney; mother, Margaret Virginia Glover; father, Leonard Obie Crawford; brothers, James L. Crawford and Daniel L. Crawford.Survivors include husband, Don T. Hardy of Palestine, TX.; brother, R. Paul Crawford of TX; sister, E. Salena Whitmire of N.C.; daughters, Donna J. Courtney-Rausch of Mo. and Margo L. Courtney-Foley of TX; son, Bradford L. Courtney of OK; 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.Viewing will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home from 12:30-2:00pm on Sunday, August 19. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Willow Pond Cemetery.
