Naoma Gay Moss

Naoma Gay Moss went to her heavenly home on February 1, 2022. She was born on October 25, 1950 to Lewis and Wanda Massengale in Amarillo, Tx. She spent most of her childhood years in Mineral wells, Tx. She was married to A.J. Moss for 56 years and they had two daughters. They moved to Perrin, Texas in 1983. Naoma received her Associates of Science degree from Weatherford College and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Tarleton State University and worked as a case manager for Lutheran Social Services. She loved working with her foster children.

Naoma is survived by her husband A.J. Moss, daughter Iris and son in law James Burkett, grandchildren Sierra and husband Zach Felton, Savannah Burkett and Summer Burkett. Great grand son Rhett Felton. She is also survived by her sister Priscilla and husband Ronnie Jones. Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Wanda Massengale and daughter Holly Moss.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, February 7, 2022 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Mineral Wells Church of God. Interment will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
