Morilla Geraldine Stephens

Morilla Geraldine Stephens, 85, passed away October 23, 2010 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born June 3, 1925 in Graham the daughter of Jones Alonzo and Erma Pearl Coffey Modrall. She married George Leonard Stephens on March 22, 1947 in Whittier, California. Her first and heart held church home was Indian Creek Baptist Church, and later she moved to Eleventh Avenue Church where she sang in the choir. She was very much a caregiver all of her life and was very instrumental in her children's growth in their Christian Faith. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Indian Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Weathers officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: David and Patricia Stephens, Anita Stanley, Delia and Michael Ramsey, grandchildren and spouses: Jeremy and Trisha Ramsey, Wade and Kristi Stephens, Katy Ramsey, Tanya Henderson, Bealina Vincent, great-grandchildren: Cody Stephens, Autum Stephens, Joshua Henderson, Lauren Little, Mekensie York, Brooke Reed, great-great-grandchild: Ian Henderson, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, husband, and grandson: Ryan A. Stephens.
