Miller Lusk

Miller Doyle Lusk, 74, passed away April 10, 2011 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born September 27, 1936 in Alto, Texas the son of Henry Elyhugh and Hazle Spurgers Lusk. He was a mason and Past Master of Mineral Wells Lodge 611 and Whitt Lodge 624. He was a retired veteran of the US Army Airborne 91 C5H. He was a medical nurse instructor in 1967 in Parker County. He was a Ham Radio Operator and a member of the Mineral Wells Amateur Radio Club. He worked for Columbia County Rescue in Georgia, at Palo Pinto General Hospital, and Wal-Mart. He enjoyed fishing and talking on the radio. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, April 14, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Millsap. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Wanda Lusk of Mineral Wells, sons and daughter-in-law: Dennis Lusk, Miller Lusk Jr., James and Linda Lusk of Mineral Wells, daughter: Crystal Swygert of Georgia, grandchildren: Justin, John, and Colton Lusk, Preston and Tara Sudduth, Heaven Swygert, Matthew Arent, Tommy Jo and Sonny Chandler of Graford, and Lysa Swygert. He was preceded in death by his step-son: Aurther Chandler.
