Mildred Faye Meeks

Mildred Faye Meeks, age 85, died peacefully on January 8, 2018 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Mildred was born December 27, 1932, in Mineral Wells, Texas. She is the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel Gary of Mineral Wells. Mildred was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.She is survived by her sister Monzell and her husband Ray Moore of Bedford, Texas, daughter Judalene and husband Don Youngblood of Mineral Wells. She has a son Terry and wife Debbie Meeks of Mineral Wells, son Rick and wife Sue Meeks of Washington, Iowa. She is survived by grandchildren: Melanie and husband David Stephenson of Houston and Donny and wife Jennifer of Brock, Texas, Alyssa and husband Bryce Harrington of Mineral Wells, Judson Meeks and Nikki Meeks, and great-grandchildren: Zach and Sam Houston from Houston, and Presley and Judd Youngblood from Brock. She is presided in death by her parents, her husband, Judd Walling Meeks; Brothers Benton, Calvin, and Avery Gary.Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Ronald Walker will be the officiating minister. Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There is no visitation prior to the service.
