Michael Kevin Pirkle, 56, died on Tuesday morning, January 19, 2016, in Weatherford, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He had suffered for several years from MDS and Leukemia.Service was at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22 at First Baptist Church, Mineral Wells with Pastor Nathan Buchanan officiating. Burial followed at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 22 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home Annex.Kevin was born January 28, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas; and grew up in Mineral Wells, Texas.He is survived by his children, Caleb Pirkle, Reagan Pirkle, and Hailey Pirkle of Weatherford and Jeremy Ramsey and wife, Trisha of Fort Worth, mother, Marjorie Cranford Bailey of Mineral Wells, father, Larry Pirkle, Sr. and wife, Kay of Columbus, Georgia, brother, Larry Pirkle, Jr. of Houston, sister, Melanie Leek Kofford and husband, Dave of Weatherford, nephew, Jordan Mallory of Mineral Wells, special friend, Myra Sabol of Weatherford, and a host of friends and extended family.Kevin was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Don Bailey, and his beloved niece, Lindsey Leek.
