Michael Renard McInroe, 54, lifetime resident of Mineral Wells, passed from this earth to his eternal home in Heaven on May 26, 2013. Michael was born April 19, 1959 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was the son of Frank McInroe and Joan Hitchcock McInroe. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1977. Michael had a true and rare, natural talent. He apprenticed under his daddy for many years and eventually began his own company, Mike's Construction. He proved that a kind heart, solid work ethic and determination were all one needed to achieve success and prosperity. Michael had learned a secret that many of us never fully embrace. He learned how to play as hard as he worked. Michael shared a passion for participating in many cookoffs around Texas. He also was always willing to cook for small or large groups of people, including many benefits. His philosophy was to have plenty of grillable food enough to feed an army! Floating down the Brazos River in a canoe became one of his favorite sports. Another favorite form of relaxation was bass fishing competitions. He will be missed, but along with any structure he ever built, his spirit and legacy will live on and will weather any storm.
