Michael Drew McDougal

Michael Drew McDougal passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 with his family by his side. He was born January 14, 1951 in Lamesa, Texas. Michael served in the US Army, 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the AMVETS. Michael retired from Wes Tex Vending after 37 years. He was known as "The Candyman" to many.Survivors include his wife, Judy McDougal; children, Shawn and wife Jamie McDougal and Shaney Meador; grandchildren, Gaige McDougal, Garrett McDougal, Gracyn McDougal, Madison Meador, and Maddux McDougal; sister, Dora and husband Ken Hosman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank McDougal and his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Gladys Dodson.Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 31 at Southside Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Perrin Memorial Gardens.
